Terms of Use

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract in India.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

thecarecircle is a discovery and verification platform. We help parents discover caregivers, order background verifications, and connect through masked calls. We are not an employment agency, and we do not employ the caregivers listed on the platform. The employment relationship, if any, is directly between the family and the caregiver.

• You may only request verification of caregivers who have given informed, written consent for that specific check.
• Verification reports are provided on an "as-is" basis, sourced from public and government databases and licensed data providers.
• Reports are for your personal use in making a hiring decision, not for legal, employment, credit, or insurance decisions in isolation.
• We do not guarantee the completeness of any single check — a "clear" result does not mean a person is safe. Combine checks with references and in-person judgment.

• Unlock credits let you view a caregiver's contact information for direct WhatsApp/phone contact.
• You agree not to scrape, resell, or share unlocked contact information with third parties.
• You agree not to attempt to circumvent our masked calling to obtain a caregiver's real number without an unlock.
• Repeated bulk unlocks with no follow-through may be flagged as abuse and result in account suspension.

• Payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) via our payment partner Cashfree Payments.
• Prices displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or defraud any caregiver or other user.
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory information about any caregiver.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund of unused credits in the case of serious abuse.

If you register as a caregiver, you represent that all information you provide (name, experience, references) is accurate. You consent to background verification when a family requests it. You may withdraw from the platform at any time by writing to hello@thecarecircle.in.

The platform, its content, and its branding are owned by thecarecircle or licensed to it. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for the conduct of any caregiver or family met through the platform.
• Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka. Before litigating, please try to resolve any dispute by writing to hello@thecarecircle.in — we resolve almost all issues directly.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
